Cover Sheet Instructions
There is a coversheet for every unit. It lists all assignments for that unit.
Cover sheets must be used to turn in ALL assignments. There are NO exceptions.
Once the unit quiz is taken, attach all assignments you wish to turn in to the cover sheet, in the same order as listed in the checklist. Check off each assignment which you have attached. Attach the quiz to the back of the packet.
Notebook/homework checks. One notebook check is done at random each week. To receive points for the notebook/homework check, you must have your notebook in class and homework done from previous night. These are worth 5 points each. You will also receive 0-10 points when you turn in your unit packet. This score depends on the number of items you have, and whether you have attached them in the correct order.
A unit turned in late will receive a 10% deduction of the total points earned, unless excused.
An organized notebook will have current items and past items separate. The student may organize by unit, or by type of assignment, such as all labs together, all vocabulary together.
