For this project you will make a presentation to the class on the Kinetic Theory of Matter. The format can be a poem or song you write, which you recite to the class, a poster or PowerPoint presentation (no computer lab time provided in class), or a physical model with demonstrations.

Rock In Vinegar Observation Journal
50 Points
For this project, over a two week period at home, you will keep a daily journal of your observations.
Take the Dolomite and place it in the Petri dish. Cover it with white vinegar. Keep a daily journal over two weeks of what happens. On the 6th day, add a penny to the dish, next to the rock.
Format is as follows:
1. A paragraph describing the procedure. Description should be complete so that the reader will know exactly what you are doing. Include where you place it (in light, in dark, in kitchen, ect.) (10 points)
2. A daily journal what what you see. Be sure to include any changes to the environment (moving it, spilling it). (30 points)
3. Conclusion: Identification of a physical and a chemical change. (10 points)
