Instructions on how to pass Foundations Class

bulletEach unit is two weeks in length.  Each week, the following occurs:
bulletDay 1.  Monday.  Vocabulary Words and Objectives.
bulletWrite down the vocabulary words on the overhead, or from the website.
bulletLeave 3 blank lines for each word
bulletWrite the definition on the first two lines
bulletUse the 3rd line to take notes on classroom demonstrations, activities and discussions
bulletYou will have a quiz on vocabulary on day 2.  So you should study these words before class
bulletYour objectives are printed on the unit coversheet.  You pass the class by learning 8-12 objectives in each unit.
bulletDay 2-4
bulletReview questions.  Keep these on your desk at all times.  Answer them as we go along.
bulletClassroom demonstrations.  You should write down results of demonstrations in your notes.
bulletComputer lab. Complete the computer lab and make sure to get printouts of future review questions.
bulletRead in class.  Be sure to take notes on objectives and vocabulary words.
bulletEverything written on the blackboard and overhead should be copied down into your notes.
bulletYour notebook will be graded once a week.  You get 10 points if you have it, zero if you do not.
bullet Day 10.  The Friday at the end of a two week period.
bulletYou need to turn in a completed unit packet, in the correct order and with all your unit work.
bulletThere will be a quiz, which should be attached to the back of the packet.
bulletAttach any bonus questions to the front of the unit packet.
bulletSave all your notes, book problems and quizzes, as these are all valuable study aids.  
bulletCorrect any missing or incorrect items.  Most common reason for failing is not doing the work.
bulletStudy for the midterm and final exams.
